We are located in Southwest Missouri just outside a little town called El Dorado Springs. My children Darla, James, Grace, Chris, my Wife Laura, and my dad Steve Woody are all contributors to the success of our kennel. I've officially opened my kennel in 2005 and have been raising training and breeding gundogs for a few years now. I began as a youth following along on bird hunts watching family and friends wing shoot over gundogs. Thats where my passion started and the continuation of hunting, and some shoot to retrieve trialing along with family and friends has just increased that passion over the years.
Danny Woody Kennels is committed to raising, training, and breeding outstanding gundogs. I keep the majority of my litters especially the first time two dogs are mated to raise, train and evaluate. I think this greatly increases the odds of me making good decisions on whether a particular breeding is producing the type dogs that will measure up to top quality standards. It gives me a great sense of satisfaction and accomplishment watching a pup be born, working with the dog through the various stages of life and getting to see the dog take its place in my string are go on to another persons home or kennel.
